How to Bypass Logon Prompt
This article describes how to bypass the logon prompt.
When you start Access a Logon prompt is displayed which requests the database username and
password. You want to bypass the logon prompt so the user doesn't have to enter this information.
- Click the Connection icon.
When you can't find the Connection icon see "How to access Connection properties".
- Access displays the Data Link Properties dialog.
- Enter the database password.
- Click on Allow Saving Password.
- Click Test Connection.
- Click on OK.
- Test by closing and opening Access.
